![]() ![]() Fed up with the responses and lack of responsibility Matt wrote his below review. When they were no shows, after trying to reach them multiple time via phone, Matt finally emailed. As I mentioned Matt was the one who spoke to a very nice gentlemen who gave the time slot of 11am to 1pm on Wednesday September 23 rd. Once we found out about the installation, that very same day, we called to reschedule. Last Wednesday, the seller arranged for the install to take place, but we were unavailable. I was at work all day and had not dealt with any of the planning for this installation of repaired/remade blinds. Working with this company was not by choice it was prearragned by the seller of the condo (full disclosure, I live with Matt S who wrote the review below). They are poor at communicating and do not care about their customer’s time. I am normally a huge promoter of small business, but I do not recommend anyone uses this company. I really wanted to support this company and give them additional business as we have another room that needs window treatments as well as others that need periodic cleaning. Instead, they have sent me an email saying I can pick up my blinds at their store location and install myself. 5 hours for a no show, the company does not even have the decency to contact me via phone to try and schedule an alternative time slot. Aside from the aggravation of leaving work to wait for 2. I then found their email online and sent them an email, but the scheduler claimed they had never booked my installation. ![]() I called the company three times and could not get an answer. On the day of installation, I left work to be available for the installation guys and waited 2. ![]() The person I spoke with on the phone from this company scheduled me for a 2 hour window during the day a week later which I blocked off in my calendar. ![]() In a week’s time, they finally returned my phone call. I called and left a voicemail on the company’s phone number to schedule an alternative installation. The seller was working with the company to schedule a date for installation which did not work for me. I recently purchased a home in Chicago and needed to have new blinds installed. I’m writing this to give these guys the review they deserve. I’ll call Swifty’s when I’m ready to replace these in a few months. I’m more than satisfied with the job they did and they were pleasant to work with on the phone and in person. He explained how this would impact the functionality and once he did that, making the decision to cut them was a no-brainer for me. He returned to re-hang them (on time again) and offered to cut the cords to make them more manageable. I took the chance and lucked out because there was none. When he arrived (on time) to pick them up, he cautioned me that due to age there might be some damage to the honeycombs during the cleaning process. These are several years old (my guess is 8-ish) and are about 11′ long. They cleaned 3-honeycomb shades and repaired the cord on one of those. Swifty’s was quite busy so my appointment was booked about 3-weeks out, but they were absolutely worth the wait. I called to have the blinds cleaned in a condo I recently purchased. Excellent experience from start to finish. ![]()
